CARE & MAINTENANCE
Silver naturally oxidises over time. If your piece begins to tarnish, gently polish it with a soft jewellery cloth. For a deeper clean, use warm water and a mild soap, taking extra care around any stones or delicate details.
Fine silver is naturally softer than sterling silver, and cubic zirconia can become loose or scratched with impact, so handle pieces with care.
To look after your jewellery, avoid prolonged contact with perfume, lotions, water and harsh chemicals. When not wearing it, store in your La Morganti box and pouch, or somewhere else dry and safe.
SILVER CLAY
La Morganti jewellery uses silver clay, a malleable material made from fine silver particles, water and an organic binder. Once shaped and fired, the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse together, transforming the clay into solid .999 fine silver.
Fine silver is softer than sterling silver, meaning pieces can develop small marks, surface changes and signs of wear over time. This is part of the nature of the material and the handmade process. Some pieces also incorporate sterling silver components, cubic zirconia and other metals or materials, each with their own care requirements.
